The Flying Start for Kids program is funded by the South Australian Government and is provided at no additional cost to families beyond usual long day care fees. At O’Briens Montessori Centre, the program is seamlessly integrated into your child’s day within our Montessori learning environment, offering the added value of a structured, government-supported preschool experience delivered through authentic Montessori practice.

What does the Flying Start for Kids program mean for your child at O’Briens Montessori Centre?
A qualified Early Childhood Teacher will lead your child’s preschool experience, supported by a team of nurturing Montessori Educators. The program aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and is delivered through authentic Montessori practice, supporting independence, concentration, order, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning. It is designed to build confidence, curiosity, and essential developmental skills that prepare children for school and beyond.
